Structural Waterproofing and Membranes

Plaster Plugs Platon. Platon Plaster Plugs are used above or below ground to fix mesh cavity drain membranes to the substrate internally.

Platon Tape is a blue butyl tape which is used for joining Platon membranes along the flange where any of these membranes overlap.

Brick Plugs for Platon Membranes. Platon Brick Plugs are used to secure Platon system membranes to building substrates and to fix battens or tracking systems.

Platon Sealing Rope is a blue butyl sealing rope which can be used to form a seal around the neck of the Platon Brick Plug and the membrane when the plug is driven home into the substrate. Platon Sealing Rope may also be used to form a seal at the overlap of adjacent Platon Membrane sheets.

Platon Plaster Base is a cavity drain membrane for internal use. It can be installed on internal walls and vaulted ceilings, above or below ground level.

Platon Double Drain. Drainage and protection cavity membrane used externally against retaining walls and across terraces and podiums. Platon Double Drain protects the primary waterproofing membrane from damage during back-filling or covering whilst maintaining a clear space which allows water to de-pressurise and drain freely.

Platon PB2 Mesh Membrane is a 3mm polypropylene cavity drain membrane, suitable for use as an isolating plaster membrane following remedial treatments.

Triton Aqua Channel is a PVC drainage conduit designed to control water ingress in below ground situations. It is fitted around the perimeter of the floor at the vulnerable wall/floor junction and is particularly suited for use in conjunction with Isola Platon cavity drain membranes.

Triton Anti-lime Coating. Designed to seal concrete surfaces and to reduce the leaching of ‘free lime’. Will also increase resistance to abrasion and acid concentrates. Normally only one coat of this totally safe, water based formulation is required which can be applied using a brush or spray unit.

Platon P8 is used as a waterproofing drainage layer applied to the inside face of basement and below ground walls and floors within a drained cavity membrane system. P8 is manufactured from High Density Polyethylene and is impermeable to water, water vapour or Radon gas.
